Pressure Washing & Soft Washing Disclaimer

1) Scope of Services

This Disclaimer covers pressure washing and soft washing of driveways, walkways, lanais, sidewalks, curbs, parking areas, houses, buildings, vinyl and wood fences, soffits, fascia, and other exterior surfaces (“Surfaces”). These services are provided in addition to our main Terms of Service, which remain in full effect.

2) Pre-Existing Conditions

• Surfaces may have existing wear, oxidation, peeling paint, hairline cracks, hollow spots, efflorescence, or failing coatings before we arrive.
• Cleaning can reveal or highlight conditions that were not obvious before washing; this is not considered damage caused by Pool Armor Pros.

3) Oxidation, Paint & Vinyl Siding

• Older paint, vinyl, aluminum, and other coated surfaces often develop oxidation (a chalky or dull appearance). Washing can remove some oxidation or make it appear streaky or uneven.
• Soft washing is designed to minimize damage but cannot fully eliminate the risk of paint loss, streaking, or uneven color, especially on oxidized or sun-baked surfaces.
• By scheduling service, you acknowledge that oxidation removal or streaking may occur and is not considered damage.

4) Surface Damage & Etching

• Concrete, pavers, brick, and similar materials vary widely in strength and age. High-pressure cleaning, even when done properly, may remove weak surface layers, expose aggregate, or cause minor etching.
• We use industry-reasonable techniques to avoid damage, but we cannot guarantee that aging or compromised surfaces will not chip, flake, or deteriorate during cleaning.
• Such results are considered a consequence of pre-existing conditions rather than negligence by Pool Armor Pros.

5) Water Intrusion & House Washing

• Older homes, improperly sealed windows/doors, damaged caulking, or compromised roof and siding elements may allow water intrusion even with low-pressure soft washing.
• You are responsible for ensuring windows are closed and that known leaks or vulnerabilities are disclosed before service.
• We are not responsible for water intrusion, leaks, or damage resulting from pre-existing structural, sealing, or roofing issues.

6) Landscaping & Plants

• We strive to pre-wet and/or rinse plants and landscaping to minimize impact, but detergents, surfactants, and runoff can still affect sensitive species.
• We are not liable for damage to grass, plants, or landscaping that are unable to tolerate detergents, sun exposure, or incidental overspray, provided we use reasonable care.

7) Customer Responsibilities

• Move vehicles, furniture, décor, and items sensitive to moisture or chemicals away from the work area.
• Secure pets and ensure clear access to water spigots and the work areas.
• Inform us of any known leaks, fragile areas, failing stucco, loose railings, damaged fences, or other hazards before we begin.

8) No Guarantee of Stain Removal

While we aim for the best possible result, some stains (e.g., deep rust, battery acid, oil, tire marks, tannins, severe organic staining) cannot be fully removed without risk of damage. We do not guarantee complete removal of all stains.

9) Assumption of Risk & Limitation of Liability

By engaging Pool Armor Pros for pressure or soft washing services, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks described above. To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, our liability for any claim relating to these services is limited as described in our Terms of Service.
