Paver Care • Risk Disclosure
Paver Cleaning, Re-Sanding & Sealing Disclaimer
This Disclaimer applies to all paver cleaning, polymeric sand re-sanding, and paver sealing services performed by Pool Armor Pros in Southwest Florida.
1) Natural Variation & Pre-Existing Conditions
- Pavers are subject to natural color variations, weathering, and efflorescence (white mineral deposits). These may become more or less visible after cleaning or sealing.
- Existing stains, tire marks, oil, rust, and organic growth may not fully remove despite proper cleaning techniques.
- Any chips, cracks, sinking, or loose pavers present before service are considered pre-existing conditions.
2) Cleaning & Surface Changes
- Cleaning may lighten the surface or reveal differences in color between pavers that were previously obscured by dirt or biological growth.
- Some pavers may absorb water and sealer differently, leading to slight variation in gloss, sheen, or tone across the surface.
3) Polymeric Sand & Joint Behavior
- Polymeric sand requires proper compaction and activation. Weather, moisture, and drainage can impact curing.
- Heavy rains shortly after installation, improper drainage, or vehicle traffic before the recommended cure time can cause washout, cracking, or joint loss.
- We are not responsible for joint failure caused by conditions beyond our control once the installation is complete and cure instructions are provided.
4) Sealer Performance & Appearance
- Sealers may enhance color, create a “wet look,” or add gloss. The final appearance depends on paver type, age, porosity, and previous coatings.
- Sealers may highlight existing imperfections, variations, or efflorescence.
- We do not warrant manufacturer defects in sealing products, nor do we guarantee a specific gloss level or appearance.
5) Efflorescence
- Efflorescence is a natural process where salts migrate to the surface. It can occur before or after sealing, and may re-appear over time.
- Sealing does not permanently prevent efflorescence, and we cannot guarantee that it will not return following service.
6) Customer Responsibilities
- Keep vehicles, furniture, and heavy objects off the pavers for the recommended cure time provided after service.
- Avoid spraying high-pressure water directly into joints after re-sanding.
- Notify us of any known drainage issues, irrigation leaks, or other conditions that may affect curing.
7) No Guarantee of Permanent Results
Pavers remain exposed to weather, traffic, UV light, and environmental staining. Cleaning and sealing help protect and enhance appearance but are not permanent. Future maintenance may be required and is not included unless specifically stated in a maintenance plan.
8) Assumption of Risk & Limitation of Liability
By engaging Pool Armor Pros for paver cleaning, re-sanding, or sealing, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks and natural variability described above. To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, our liability is limited as described in our Terms of Service.
